I had the honor of blossoms and blooms to Donny wedding flowers! Julie is a rockstar! She drove down to Ames the Friday before my wedding and she turned her hotel room into a mini floral shop! When I walked into my reception I was blown away by how gorgeous all of my tables looked!
Unfortunately, we had bad experience here for flowers for our wedding. Julie quoted us a set price in the beginning and she went back on it right before the wedding and required 33% more (even though we eliminated a large chunk of our order). Get everything in writing with her--every last detail! Know that she will be working other jobs and won't put you and your wedding as a priority. (Calling night before and day of wedding saying she'll be late because she double-booked jobs!) Also, we did not get the color and type of flowers that we discussed. Mother of groom had to call her day of to get her to fix the bouquets. Also we had to add fake flowers (from our own centerpieces) to our arch to get it to the right color scheme. (Very stressful! Especially with how much we paid her!) If you go with her--which I wouldn't recommend--demand a sample and again get everything in writing! Would not go to her again.
Blossoms and Blooms did the flowers for my wedding, and they were great! Took care of all the little details for me, I didnt have to worry about anything. Looking at my wedding photos, the vibrant flowers are one of the things that sticks out the most. Recommended to family members of mine!
unfortunately I am not able to respond to the review Nicole left. It is in fact very not true. My lifelong family friend died and the funeral was the morning of her wedding. I shared that I had the funeral and would be there with her flowers as soon as possible. I have the entire order written and she in fact got more than she ordered. She changed her order several times and the flowers were what her mother in law asked us to do. When I delivered all the flowers both her mother in law and her sister said "everything is perfect!" and her sister told me they were even more beautiful than she expected! Was SHOCKED to see her write a negative review almost a month after her wedding!
